Glambase Takedown Policy

1. Purpose
Glambase is committed to maintaining a safe, legally compliant, and respectful environment for all users. This Takedown Policy outlines the procedures for reporting and addressing content that is illegal, non-consensual, or otherwise in violation of our terms and the standards set forth by regulatory guidelines (including the updated Mastercard Standards for Security Rules and Procedures).
2. Scope
This policy applies to all content hosted on Glambase, including but not limited to:
- Content that is illegal or violates applicable laws.
- Content that lacks proper age verification or necessary consent.
- Material that has been reported as violating our community guidelines or industry compliance standards.
- Content promoting or facilitating human trafficking, sex trafficking, or physical abuse.
3. How to Submit a Takedown Request
All requests for content removal must be submitted via email to takedown@glambase.app. When submitting a request, please include the following details:
- Detailed Description: Specify the content in question, including URLs or exact locations within Glambase.
- Reason for Request: Clearly explain how the content violates applicable laws, our terms of service, or the relevant compliance standards.
- Supporting Evidence: Attach any documents, screenshots, or other evidence that support your claim.
- Contact Information: Provide your name and contact details for any follow-up questions.
4. Review and Action Process
- Preliminary Review: Our team will verify that the request is complete and assess the content against legal standards, our terms of service, and the compliance guidelines.
- Decision & Action:
- If the content is found to be in violation, it will be removed immediately or within 7 business days—whichever is sooner.
- If a more in-depth review is necessary, we will keep the requester informed of the process.
- Documentation: Every takedown request and subsequent action will be logged, ensuring full traceability for future audits or regulatory reporting.
5. Appeals Process
If the content owner or a person depicted in the content disagrees with the takedown decision, they may appeal by emailing takedown@glambase.app with:
- A detailed explanation and any evidence supporting why the content should remain.
- Reference to the original takedown request.
An independent review will be conducted. In cases where consent or legal interpretations are in dispute, a neutral third party may be engaged to help resolve the matter.
6. Compliance and Reporting
In line with industry best practices and the updated Mastercard Standards for Security Rules and Procedures, Glambase will:
- Maintain monthly records of all takedown requests, actions taken, and any appeals.
- Provide such reports to the relevant regulatory bodies or acquirers when required.
- Continuously review and improve our content moderation systems to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
7. Policy Updates
Glambase reserves the right to update this Takedown Policy as necessary to remain compliant with changing laws, industry standards, or operational requirements. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
